Royal Copenhagen Musk Cologne by Royal Copenhagen, Created in 1975, Royal Copenhagen Musk is a spicy, aromatic and musky fragrance for men. Wear it as a daytime fragrance during the spring or winter. The initial powdery notes of sage, lavender and basil are robust and soothing. The middle notes form under the protection jasmine, neroli and lily of the valley. The base notes finish strongly with musk, nutmeg, sandalwood, amber, cloves and oakmoss. The chemist Frantz Heinrich Müller founded the Royal Copenhagen porcelain company in 1775. It began under the protection of the widowed Queen of Denmark, Juliane Marie. Müller was granted a monopoly on porcelain for 50 years to establish the industry. The factory logo is simple and recognizable: a crown astride three blue waves. These waves represent the seas of Denmark. In 2012, the company was sold to the Finnish company Fiskars.
