Its oriental scent opens with strong top notes of bergamot and cinnamon before becoming more floral with blooming middle notes of lily, jasmine, and peony. The base notes soothe into calming incense, amber, patchouli, and essence of woods. The composition was developed by Firmenich perfumers.

Judith Peto was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1921. Here, she was the first women to join a group of artisans who made purses by hand. Her Jewish family survived World War Ii and Judith married American soldier, Garson Leiber. She and her husband immigrated to the U.S. in 1948, where she began working in different design houses. By 1963, she had established the Leiber brand and soon became world-renowned for her couture purses made of leather and fine crystal.
